SHIRT: really old H&M (similar here) // JEANS: American Eagle // BAG: Aldo // SHOES: really old Forever 21 (similar here) // SUNGLASSES: Amazon (more options here) // LIPSTICK: Revlon 'Fuchsia Fusion'

Happy Friday!

If you are sick of seeing this bright yellow bag here, I'm sorry but it isn't going anywhere anytime soon! This Aldo bag that I have been over using is my 'sunshine' bag. It makes me happy when skies are grey! (did you sing it along with me?)

I just wanted to share this casual weekend look that you can and should try to wear this weekend. It's an easy formula that takes your casual weekend wear up a notch.
Favorite jeans + button up + easy to walk in heels + a statement bag = perfect casual weekend wear!

The jeans and top can be your comfy favorites but by adding a heel, it doesn't have to be anything fancy or uncomfortable (thus the chunky heel. Easier to walk in), you dress it up a bit and add length and polish to a more casual look. Adding the bag simply gives a bit of color if you are a neutral lover like myself.

What is your favorite weekend wear?
Share with me in the comments! I love hearing from you guys!

Yes, it's the end of May. Yes, I'm wearing (faux) leather and a knit sweater.
This outfit was part of a miscalculation on my part resulting in me sweating for a greater part of the afternoon. Here in the PNW we have been having amazing weather but yesterday started with some heavy marine layer, fog, and low menacing looking clouds. So practical me says "Wear a sweater. It looks chilly and don't forget an umbrella" resulting in my sweaty self by noon.
Does that ever happen to anyone else? Thank god these pants are lined or else I would have looked like Ross in this episode of Friends. I love these pants but they are officially shelved until Fall rolls around.

Has this ever happened to any of you guys?
You way overdress then regret it within five minutes of leaving the house?
Please share so I don't fell as foolish ;)

As summer comes closer and closer, I find that we collectively are hanging up our LBD's for the season and bringing back out the Little White Dress. Since black is the go-to color for cocktail parties and nights out all the rest of the year, why can't white have a single season to itself?

I obviously have a strong love for Summer Whites especially when it come the the little white dress. This is my go-to summer 'little white dress', which gets me through summer cocktail parties, BBQ's, and every other summer event.
For this look, I went all out girly adding my recent favorite-can't-put-it-down pink moto jacket and ShoeDazzle 'Alesha' heels. I would have loved to add a skinny hot pink belt to complete this look. Sadly I don't have a belt like that but it would have been the perfect finishing touch to this look.

Do you have a favorite LWD? If you don't, I've linked a handful of options (both affordable and high end) below for those interested!
